Just a little sketch I thought I'd share that I did this weekend using ink and watercolor. My husband and I were out for a walk and there were ladybugs everywhere! So, naturally, I decided to sketch a few.

So here's my entry for this week's Illustration Friday topic, "Equipment." I'd like to dedicate this one to my mother since Mother's Day was last weekend; she is a hairstylist, and these are her tools of the trade!

I created this piece using ink and digital media as a magazine spot illustration a year ago.
